Nizoral is applied for treating skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and certain kinds of dandruff. HOW TO USE NIZORAL:

Do not wrap, cover or bandage the area unless directed to do so by your doctor. Do not apply this medication in the eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina. If this medication gets in the eyes (e.g., when used to treat dandruff), rinse thoroughly with water. In order not to forget apply this medication at the same time. You should take the full cure. Stopping the medication too early may allow the fungus to continue to grow, which may result in a relapse of the infection. Inform your doctor if your condition persists after the prescribed amount of treatment or worsens at any time.

NIZORAL SIDE EFFECTS:

You may experience stinging, swelling, irritation, or redness of the treated skin. Inform your doctor in the case of worsening or persisting nay of the side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious nizoral side effects. Don't forget that your doctor has prescribed this medication because the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. If you experience such unusual but serious side effects as blistering, open sores inform your doctor immediately. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction include: dizziness, rash, itching, swelling, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

NIZORAL PRECAUTIONS:

Tell your doctor if you have any allergic reaction. Your doctor or pharmacist must know your medical conditions. This remedy is not advised during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known whether this drug passes into breast milk. Therefore, breast-feeding is not recommended while using nizoral. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

NOTES:

Do not share this medication with others. This remedy is for your current conditions only. A different medication may be necessary in other cases. When treating pityriasis, this medication may not cause an immediate return to normal skin color. It may take several months after treatment is completed for your natural skin color to return.
