COREG SIDE EFFECTS:

Giddiness, lightheadedness, diarrhea, trouble sleeping, drowsiness, tiredness, dry eyes, or vision problems may occur as your organism gets used to the medication. Inform your doctor immediately in the case of worsening or persisting any of the coreg side effects. If you experience such side effect as cold feet or hands, caused by lowering blood flow to the parts of your body, wear warmly and avoid smoking, because it may worsen the side effect. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include: rash, severe dizziness, itching, swelling, trouble breathing. If you experience coreg side effects not mentioned above notify your doctor immediately. COREG PRECAUTIONS:

Tell your doctor if you have any allergic reaction. This remedy is not recommended under some medical conditions. This remedy is not recommended if you suffer from asthma, certain types of irregular heartbeats (e.g., sinus bradycardia, second or third degree atrioventricular block), severe heart failure (overt or decompensated type), cardiogenic shock, and liver disease. Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: other breathing problems (e.g., chronic obstructive lung disease), other heart problems (e.g., Prinzmetal's variant angina), diabetes, overactive thyroid disease (hyperthyroidism), mental/mood disorders (e.g., depression), kidney disease, blood circulation problems (e.g., Raynaud's disease), a certain type of tumor (pheochromocytoma), certain muscle disease (myasthenia gravis). Your doctor should know that you are taking the remedy before you have surgery. If you have diabetes, this medication may mask the fast/pounding heartbeat you would usually feel when your blood sugar level falls too low (hypoglycemia). This medication doesn't influence such effects of low blood sugar as giddiness and sweating. If you use the medication for the firs time or your dose was increased you may experience giddiness, drowsiness. Be attentive while engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. The manufacturer recommends avoiding these activities during periods of adjustment in your dose. Limit alcohol. It is recommended to get up slowly to avoid giddiness or lightheadedness. Taking coreg with food will also help decrease these effects. Elder people are more sensitive to such side effects as giddiness or lightheadedness. This medication is not advised during pregnancy and can be taken only if it's really necessary. Discuss all pro and contra with your doctor. This medication occurs into breast milk. If you take coreg consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

COREG INTERACTIONS:

Your doctor or pharmacist may already be acquainted with any possible coreg interactions. Do not start, stop or change the dosage of any medicine consulting the doctor. Look through the labels on all your medicines (e.g., cough-and-cold products, diet aids) attentively to find out if they contain ingredients that could increase your heart rate or blood pressure. Consult your doctor about how to apply the remedy safely.
